The Norstar AR model brings everything you could want in a standard flatbed to the lightweight construction perks of an aluminum bed. The AR model is built with a recessed 2 5/16'' gooseneck ball rated at 30,000 Lbs. a tongue weight of 6,000 Lbs. and a receiver hitch rated at 14,500 Lbs. The AR bed is built with a solid steel subframe used in the standard SR model as well, with 12 gauge aluminum rear skirting and headache rack. With an extruded aluminum decking allowing for a higher strength-to-weight ratio than a flat aluminum deck would.
